Change within the Board of Management of LÄPPLE AG

Effective August 1, 2026, Dr. Dirk Täger takes over as Speaker of the Board of the LÄPPLE AG. He succeeds Stephan Itter, who is leaving the LÄPPLE Group after nine years as CFO and, most recently, CEO.

Dr. Dirk Täger has been a member of the Executive Board since early 2026, serving as Chief Restructuring Officer (CRO). In his dual role as Speaker of the Executive Board and CRO, he is responsible for the transformation and restructuring of the LÄPPLE Group. In addition, he oversees strategic activities and thus plays a key role in shaping the future direction of the group.

The revised Board structure kicks off the next phase of the realignment. The goal is to position the LÄPPLE Group to be more robust and profitable, to streamline corporate management and make it more efficient, and to anchor responsibility even more firmly within the operational business units.

Dr. Dirk Täger’s focus is on sustainable structures, consistent change processes, and reliable communication with all relevant stakeholders.
