Social commitment

 

LÄPPLE Automotive is committed regionally and sustainably - to education, integration and social projects. Because we don't just think responsibility in economic terms.

As an employer with regional roots, LÄPPLE Automotive bears responsibility - not only towards customers and employees, but also towards society.

We support various initiatives because we believe that sustainable management means thinking beyond the factory gates.

Designing together

Education & promotion of young talent

Together with our training company, we support schools, universities and educational initiatives - e.g. through technology projects, career guidance programs, internships, the promotion of STEM initiatives and scholarships. Our aim is to get young people interested in technology at an early age and open up future opportunities.

Social commitment

We support local associations, social institutions and charitable initiatives that promote solidarity. We also enable our employees to get actively involved in projects through fundraising campaigns together with our works council committees. Because we are convinced that social responsibility starts right on our own doorstep.

Examples of our activities

Tradition of solidarity

A special tradition has been established at both German sites - Heilbronn and Teublitz: The respective works councils donate the income from the social funds to charity. The funds come from internal sales, private withdrawals and similar activities - a strong sign of solidarity in action.

Can campaign for the needy

With heart and energy, employees supported the Gospel Crew Heilbronn's canned food drive. By collecting canned goods, people in need from Heilbronn and the surrounding area were provided with donations in kind - a small contribution with a big impact.

Club life with heart

The Teublitz hunting bow club Iglakatekhila, whose clubhouse is located on our company premises, has over 50 members - many of them from the LÄPPLE workforce and their families. To mark its 30th anniversary, the club made a donation to the AWO children's home Rappelkiste in Teublitz - a fine example of social cooperation in action.

Working together for a better climate

As part of the city cycling campaign, employees at both sites are pedaling hard to avoid CO₂ emissions. As an additional contribution to sustainability, LÄPPLE AUTOMOTIVE is planting trees in forests in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg - a strong sign of environmental awareness and team spirit.

Insights for the future

LÄPPLE AUTOMOTIVE regularly opens its factory gates to school classes, graduating classes from technical vocational schools and student groups from the STEM field. Participants are given a direct insight into modern production processes and industrial reality during practical guided tours. Our aim is to bring technology to life and get young people excited about future-oriented professions.

Ice-cold commitment: Partnership with the Eisbären Heilbronn

As a regional sponsor, LÄPPLE AUTOMOTIVE supports the ice hockey club Eisbären Heilbronn. The partnership stands for team spirit, perseverance and close ties with the region - values that are also practiced in the company on a daily basis.
